Tomorrow at 3 p.m. in Las Cruces Senators Heinrich and Udall will be holding a meeting with Secretary of the Interior Jewell to discuss their plan to designate a huge and expansive area of New Mexico land as a national monument, putting it under federal control. Their idea of preserving the Organ Mountains will disallow uses of the land, hurting farmers, ranchers, and restricting all who utilize the land for their livelihoods or for recreation.

They want to hear from you, and we urge all of you in southern New Mexico to make your voices heard.
