Even Warren Buffett has jumped ship on supporting ObamaCare. According to Buffett,"what we have now is untenable over time.” (See the story here: www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/warren-buffett-scrap-....html)
It is unworkable, and even the President’s most ardent supporters are admitting as much. In light of this, we have to ask why some of New Mexico’s leaders—like Rep. Michelle Lujan Grisham, Rep. Lujan, Sen. Udall, and Sen. Heinrich—are still on board with this disastrous policy.

Republican Party of New Mexico Chairman John Billingsley released the following statement on the twelfth anniversary of the September 11th attacks:
"Like each of you, we at the Republican Party of New Mexico remember the horrific events of September 11, 2001. The sorrow we all felt for the families who lost loved ones is still fresh in our memories, as is the strength with which America rose from the heartache of that day.”
"We take time today to remember and honor the victims and to pray for those who are without fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, and children because of the unprovoked and shocking attacks against America twelve years ago. We also extend our gratitude and recognition to those heroes who stepped up in the days and weeks that followed.”
"While the date September 11th will always be a day of remembrance for America, we are grateful to live in a nation of such extraordinary strength, where we can overcome great adversity and stand in unity.”

Obama’s Lack of Leadership and Broken Promises
ALBUQUERQUE – Today, Republican Party of New Mexico Chairman John Billingsley issued the following statement in response to President Barack Obama’s speech on potential U.S. military involvement in Syria:
"Once again, President Obama’s botched responses on foreign policy matters are disappointing and contradictory. Although he promised to strengthen our image in the world, his response to the situation in Syria has been amateurish at best. The American public overwhelmingly opposes U.S. military involvement in Syria, and tonight President Obama failed to plan out a logical and well thought plan of action.”
"It appears that he believes that this is a quick fix situation, and he gave little thought to what might happen after involving our military. Additionally, tonight he failed to persuade us that this is a good idea. Instead, he merely asked for a pause on action that is already unwanted by many and attempted to convince all that his unsteady leadership is on the right course.”
"We can chalk up the President’s handling of this situation to nothing more than a lack of leadership and more broken promises, and we are calling on the White House for credible leadership on this and other foreign policy situations. I firmly stand behind U.S. Congressman Steve Pearce and the numerous New Mexicans who have contacted our office, expressing their opposition to U.S. military involvement in Syria.”

130% Increase
YOU, YOUR CHILDREN, YOUR PARENTS AND GRANDPARENTS WILL BE HIT HARDEST BY OBAMACARE
ALBUQUERQUE - A study performed by the Manhattan Institute for Policy Research revealed that New Mexico will face the highest rate increases IN THE COUNTRY at 130 percent. (See the article here).
"ObamaCare has been touted by progressives in Congress as a way to ensure that all can have access to ‘affordable’ healthcare, but the reality is that it will hit New Mexico families harder than any other state in our great country,” said RPNM Chairman John Billingsley."Since its inception, we have stood in opposition to this sweeping government mandate, and in the light of this new study, it is impossible to understand how our elected officials like Senator Udall, Senator Heinrich, Congressman Lujan, and Congresswoman Lujan Grisham could continue to support a flawed program that will destroy healthcare coverage for so many people here in New Mexico.”
"The only real option is repeal,” continued Billingsley."ObamaCare’s full implementation will not only destroy our jobs and stick hard working New Mexicans with a 130% increase in their current health insurance rates, but it also takes away patient choice. The more we find out about this disastrous legislation, the clearer it becomes that it is devastating and dangerous policy to all.”
